Forever is the third and final studio album by English girl group the Spice Girls. It was released on 1 November 2000 by Virgin Records. It is their only album without Geri Halliwell, who later rejoined the group for their Greatest Hits album in 2007. Despite failing to match the commercial success of the group's two previous albums, Forever peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

Forever is the third and last album by the Spice Girls. It was the group’s lowest selling album, only selling four million copies worldwide. It was also their only album that didn’t reach in the UK or feature Geri Halliwell. It’s certified platinum in the UK (300,000 sales). The album features the lead single Holler, Let Love Lead the Way (which peaked at the top of the UK Singles Chart), the promo single Tell Me Why, and third single If You Wanna Have Some Fun, which is also a promo single.

Following the departure of Geri, many of the girls' plans were put on hold as well as some being scrapped. They continued work with their current team of song writers and producers until the work could be finalised. Following these events, R&B songwriters and producers were put into place and the album took a R&B route. Susan Drake - background vocals. Eliot Kennedy - background vocals.

With Forever the Spice Girls showed that every pop act has its lifespan. They sound dead and their hearts truly were not in the album. Forever also shows what could have been if they really gave it their all and made an album that was truly them. The five good songs on Forever can almost carry the album but not quite. In my opinion however it is worth a listen. rate it Awful - 1 Very Poor - . Poor - 2 Average - . Good - 3 Great - . Excellent - 4 Superb - . Classic - 5. Chart.

The Spice Girls waited three years to deliver their third album, Forever. While they were away, a number of things changed - things have that tendency - but the pop scene didn't shift so drastically that it was chilly to a Spice comeback. Many pundits argued, fairly accurately, that they were the trailblazers for the resurgence of frothy, unabashed teen pop in the last two years of the 20th century.

  • Their third studio album - the first one without Geri Halliwell - and very likely their last one too. We probably never hear a comeback album from them. I have to say when Geri left the band, it was a shock for me who was loving their music although I didn't have their album then. When Geri left the band, I bought their albums very soon. Not because of that though . I was a teenager back then and didn't buy my music before I decided to get my own albums. It was a shock when I realized that this album was not nearly as amazing as the first two albums. "Forever" would eventually be more like "Never Again" when they all wanted to be more solo artists than a band. I guess Geri's success had impact on them too.The album itself is not horrible. In fact, when I am an adult, I love it. "Holler" is a good song and it has so obvious R&B sounds although it is a pop song. It is one of the best songs here and it is one of the best songs of Spice Girls The song was paving the way for R&B pop we can hear artists like Natasha Bedingfield and Haim using much later. "Let Love Lead the Way" is one of their best ballads. "Goodbye" is my favorite song of "Forever". It was a farewell song to Geri. "If You Wanna Have Some Fun" is a song which I think should have been released as a single. It is a little bit repetitive but I really like the chorus. I was also surprised when I heard "Time Goes By" - I actually didn't remember it even existed but after hearing it for the first time since the arly 2010's, I think it is beautiful. This album has a couple of bad songs. Unfortunately they are song number 5 "Get Down With Me" which is not special at all and the song number 6 which sound like it could last forever despite being only a little bit over four minutes long.I think "Tell Me Why", "Right Back at Ya, and "Oxygen are OK songs. "Weekend Love" is actually quite good.Unfortunately this album was the end of perhaps the most legendary girl vocal group.

  • Amazeing album although this wasn't as sucsefull as the other 2 albums but goodbye holler and let love lead the way was all smash hits and should have got more credit at the time but brilliant album to me
