The Erik Lamberth Jazz Quartet was originally the concept of Seattle producer Cyrus Rhoads after hearing Erik’s solo album, Three Guitars. The idea was to expand the jazz songs into a full length jazz CD with excellent musicians. Although Cyrus had to back out of the project, the idea endured, and, as fate would have it, there were outstanding players locally. Vince Ryan, Tom Wyatt, and, Leif Dunn, along with Erik, recorded the first CD from the Erik Lamberth Jazz Quartet, Opportunity.
