Have Your Alien and Eat It Too.

Given a chance pigs would eat us more readily than we can eat them. my phone’s running out of space. I'm not positive, but I think she may be on drugs.

The planet Earth in fiction seems to be a magnet for every hostile alien, demon, trans-dimensional bein. And many of them eat it too. Half-gods are only half-human, but that still qualifies these monsters to this trope. In the German SF series Maddrax the animals and plants have mutated into huge monsters, and the predators among them frequently hunt humans as well. In Starbound, Florians treat just about anyone like this. Except they're sliiightly too tribalistic and proud of their strength to actually herd them, and thus hunt them down. This limitation doesn't stop them from being a huge threat. The monsters of Evolve can eat the corpses of dead hunters, as well as the colonist casualties that can be found on the maps.

You can't have your cake and eat it (too) is a popular English idiomatic proverb or figure of speech. The proverb literally means "you cannot simultaneously retain your cake and eat it". Once the cake is eaten, it is gone. It can be used to say that one cannot or should not have or want more than one deserves or is reasonable, or that one cannot or should not try to have two incompatible things.

Lyrics to "These Days" song by Alien Ant Farm: Making all these waves and I wonder where the days went. I think it's something positive, and negative too. Playing all these games and, I wonder who's to blame it. I sit and think it's you, I'm sure the feelings mutual. Its getting old. We should have known it's over. We'll be a real team, I told you. Alien Ant Farm are very much akin to this former colleague: they have a great sense-of-humor and are abundantly talented. Despite having other singles that range from stellar ("Attitude") to solid ("Movies", "Glow"), the band are most closely tied to covering Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" and are often derided for not being able to escape that specter's shadow (something that vocalist Dryden Mitchell fiercely rebukes in the acerbic "Let 'Em Know"). For example, throughout their career, Alien Ant Farm have crafted some supremely catchy choruses, and this hallmark exists in spades on this record, too, with album opener "Yellow Pages", the groovy "Our Time" (featuring a guest appearance from Texas-based rapper Zeale), and the heavy-hitting trio of "Godlike", "Better Weather", and "Dirty Bomb" being obvious stand-outs (especially closer "Dirty Bomb", sporting.
